QUESTIONS

Sea freight questions

What’s the difference between FCL and LCL?

FCL (full container load) is a 20 ft or 40 ft container just for your cargo. LCL (less than container load) means your cargo shares a container with other shipments, and you only pay for the space you use.

Which one should I choose?

LCL usually suits smaller shipments and FCL suits larger ones. If you’re not sure, tell us the total volume or the size of each piece and we’ll work out which is better value for you.

What do you need for a sea freight quote?

What you’re shipping, how many pieces, the total weight and volume, where it’s coming from and going to, and when it’s ready. Incoterms help if you have them, and you can attach a commercial invoice or packing list to the quote form.

Do you handle the bills of lading and export paperwork?

Yes. We prepare and manage the shipping documents, including bills of lading and export paperwork, so you don’t have to.

Can you deliver to my door?

Yes. We can ship port to port, or door to door with customs clearance and delivery at destination.
